Adoption update

I know I haven't posted in awhile. Our lives here have been quite emotional. I didn't realize when we started the process of adopting that we would find ourselves on an emotional roller coaster. About two weeks ago, we got word that we had been chosen to get a baby in March, but then just a week later, the birthmom changed her mind. I found myself really trying to keep my excitement in check, which did help to not hurt quite so much later. And of course, I would rather have the birthmom change her mind now than after we have the baby for 29 days (in her state, she had 30 days to change her mind). Right now, I feel okay. The agency we are using is working hard for us; I know that they have already shown our profile again. Mostly I find myself still focusing on trusting that our Heavenly Father is in charge, and when it is our baby, that baby will find his or her way into our arms.

I'm so sorry. I know the adoption roller coaster is hard (we were on for about 3 years). Enjoy Tyler and remember what a blessing he is. I'm praying for you!

We will keep you in our prayers! It will all work out and hopefully the emotional rollercoaster can stop having so many ups and downs!
