As we were about to head out the door, and of course wanting a picture of Tyler in his Easter suit and with his Easter basket, what do we find? Sheets of rain. We're talking rain gutters overflowing, streets flooding, will soak your shirt rain. Of course by the time church was over, it was sunny and nary a puddle was left in the street. We had quite a low-key Easter, which was just fine. We did have a hunt and do the eggs:
but the thing that stood out to me was as we were watching the following clip of Elder Holland's conference talk, and Tyler said:
"It was really sad when Jesus died, but I don't think Jesus was sad. He was happy because he loved us."
While I know Christ did suffer, I am so grateful that he loved each of us enough to sacrifice for us. I am so grateful for his atonement and resurrection so that we can live forever with him one day.

Tyler looks so handsome in his suit. We sure missed you guys at Easter. Looks like you guys had fun.
What a fun Easter! Sorry about the rain. That makes it difficult to get somewhere looking all spiffy. We had rain on Saturday, but Sunday was really good. We moved all the hunts and everything to Sunday, and it was fun. You're such a good missionary posting Elder Holland's talk. Good idea. That was really inense.

You are such a good Mom, if Tyler is able to understand that already, you've done an awesome job with him.
That's a good video clip. I wish I had found that for my beehive class on Sunday. Thanks for sharing.
