Fall leaves at Cascade Springs

Two weeks ago (where does the time go?) my sister and her girls joined our family up the canyon.  We packed a simple picnic lunch with sandwiches, chips, fruit, and cookies, and after we ate it, we drove the Alpine Loop to look at the leaves.  Amazing! We didn't go last year, and we didn't get much color change in Houston, so I thought it was so awesome to see all the fall colors.

We also stopped at Cascade Springs and walked the paths there.  I was carrying Jackson, so I handed the camera off to Dan and Tyler for our walk.  They took some great pictures.

In the parking lot getting ready to go.

Me with my boys.

And one picture taken from the car on the way home.

I absolutely love the picture of you with your boys! That's how mine always turn out! Kids moving, faces being made or eyes closed. Maybe when they are all in their twenties I can get one of all of us smiling with our eyes open! ;)
